Identifying the problems and obstacles in your life is not enough. You need to set your destination. Know where you are going and what you want to achieve. Understanding who and what you want to become will help you plan out your life.

DeleteYou are absolutely right and everything you say is at the core of Life Clubs, including setting short term, medium term and long term goals that reflect better understanding and perception of your self and others. You might want to visit their website!
You would also have noticed that one of the measures I used in the research measured Goal Attainment as well as all six of Carol Ryff's key Psychological needs. Sense of Purpose, Autonomy, Environmental Mastery, Self Acceptance, Personal Growth and Relationship.

This is one of the most challenging of barriers to personal growth and development because where there exists negativity, doubt and fear, there can be no positive growth. Such negative emotions could our mind and prevent us from seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
